Jose Leon A. Dulce is a 20 year-old student at the UP Diliman College of Fine Arts who is slowly but steadily working his way through his bachelor degree in Visual Communications. He is currently facing Philippines’ social realities and playing his part in the movement for social change in his work as a graphic artist and new media operator at the Computer Professionals’ Union (CPU), a non-government organization advocating information and communications technology for the people.
He enjoys his computer time struggling to maintain his fringe blog, struggling with photoshop to keep his craft honed, struggling to free himself from the shackles of proprietary software and embrace GIMP, Ubuntu and the open source lifestyle in general, and struggling to get his pet, The Red Panda, from start to finish line in Facebook’s Pet Society. He is also struggling for Nationalism and Democracy.
